Helping those with autoimmune disease take control of their health through diet, lifestyle shifts and personal empowerment

About Me

You don't need to feel like this forever...

I know because I was there. It took being diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder myself at age 18 [read about my story here and here] for me to really start to delve into my own health and wellness journey. I was grateful for my doctors and conventional medicine during that time, but was frustrated that it still left me feeling deficient in many areas of my life. I was exhausted, had digestive issues, and suffered from intermittent fevers, aches and pains.

I felt stuck, and was sick of blindly taking medications as "bandaids" for a larger, underlying issue.  I felt lost working with health care professionals who, despite their best intentions, didn't listen or understand what I was really going through. I was so frustrated by all the conflicting advice and was desperately searching for what was best for me.  I wanted my active, productive life back.

What if there was a better way to take CONTROL of your health?

After years of confusion and suffering I was finally able to take control of my life by becoming my own advocate, being mindful of what food I put into my body, rewiring my nervous system, and learning my own disease triggers and how to reduce flare-ups.

I know firsthand that the road to health can feel overwhelming and lonely at times, but there is a path for all of us and I really want to help you succeed!

As a Registered Nurse and Board Certified Holistic Nurse Coach I value the importance of our conventional medical system but understand it has its limitations especially in relation to chronic autoimmune conditions. I believe in a holistic approach to health and wellness meaning I care about how all areas of your life influence one another.  I want to support you in your quest to get back to health by listening to your story, understanding your needs, and finding the best way to incorporate healthy, whole foods and nourishment of your mind and body into your own unique life.

I assure you, no matter where you are, that it is totally possible to live a beautiful, vibrant life not ruled by your disease. Sometimes all you need is the right person to guide and support you through this process.

My 1:1 Health & Nutrition Coaching Program is specifically designed to help you increase energy levels and help you reconnect to your true self not defined by your chronic symptoms.

In my sessions I weave together Functional Nutrition Coaching, guidance to unwind limiting beliefs and patterns keeping you stuck, and breath work and somatic exercises to ground and nurture your nervous system. I’ve been in the healthcare field for 12+ years and over this time have honed the skills, depth and expertise it takes to support you in truly finding your own unique path to health. If you want to finally get a handle on your health, it would be my honor to support you. Simply book in a complementary 20-minute Discovery Session, and find out more about how you can benefit from personalized health and nutrition coaching! I can’t wait to hear your story and support you on your healing journey.
