Love Your Gut Group Program is an online, 5-week group program created by Registered Nurse and Functional Nutrition Coach, Christina Tidwell. The Love Your Gut Group Program is designed to give you all of the tools you need to support a healthy digestive system so you can experience:

How it works

The Love Your Gut Group Program is a 5-week program designed to give you all the tools, guidance and support you need to build a healthy digestive system and body through weekly trainings and group coaching sessions:

Week #1: Digestion 101 + Analyzing Your Function

In week 1 you’ll learn all about the importance of gut health and the compelling reasons why we want to focus attention on the health of our digestive tract! You will also learn how to use a “Food Mood Poop” journal and analyze your individual digestive function. If you’ve ever felt like your symptoms are a mystery, this week will help illuminate some of your most confusing symptoms! This is a critical step in truly understanding how you can support your digestive system and troubleshoot when things are going wrong.

Week #2: Remove

At this point you’ve learned why gut health is so important as well as the impact it can have on our immune system, inflammation, nutrient absorption and disease expression. Now we’re going to transition into what’s going on for you specifically and what you can do about it. In week 2 we’ll delve into the 5 Rs of digestive health, starting with Remove. The first step in the 5 R process is to remove things that negatively affect the environment of the gastrointestinal tract. You’ll receive guidance and handouts on how to complete a basic elimination diet (at your own pace) tailored to your specific needs and where you’re at in your life right now.

Week #3: Replace + Reinocculate

In week 3 we dive into the 2nd and 3rd Rs of digestive health, Replace and Reinocculate in order to support upper and lower digestion. Replace is all about replacing things we may be deficient in to support a healthy digestive system such as:

  • Nutrient dense foods

  • Vitamins and nutrients we may be deficient in

  • Essential ingredients for proper digestion and absorption that may have been depleted due to medications, antacids, stress, diet or disease

You’ll also learn about the latest research in microbiome health and the best ways to support the bacteria balance in your gut on a daily basis!

Week #4: Repair

In week 4 you’ll learn about about intestinal permeability or “leaky gut” and how you can support a healthy gut lining! A strong gut barrier is critical to a healthy gut and body. In week 4 you’ll learn ways to support the lining of your gut and how to troubleshoot common digestive issues.

Week #5: Rebalance

In week 5 we’ll finish up with the 5th R of digestive health (and arguable the most important!), Rebalance. Rebalance refers to addressing the core basics of sleep, stress management, hydration and movement. Considering things like food, digestion, and supplements that we spoke about in the first 4 Rs are hugely beneficial, but can only take us so far if we are experiencing chronic stress or holding onto limiting beliefs that keep us stuck in the same patterns over and over again. In week 5 we'll focus on these core basics, chronic stress and the Vagus Nerve, and explore ways to manage our stress response for optimal health! You will come away with tangible tools to bring your body back into balance on a daily basis.

Weekly 60-minute group coaching calls will be held on Zoom and will be:

  • Thursday August 6th 12:00pm - 1:00pm PST **(We may move calls to 9:00am PST if that time works better for everyone in the group!)

  • Thursday August 13th 12:00pm - 1:00pm PST

  • Thursday August 20th 12:00pm - 1:00pm PST

  • Thursday August 27th 12:00pm - 1:00pm PST

  • Thursday September 3rd 12:00pm - 1:00pm PST

All calls will be recorded so you have access to them for life! You will also receive the Love Your Gut Online Program as well so you can continue to use these tools for the long term.

When does the program start and finish?

The is a 5-week group program led by Christina Tidwell that starts on August 6th and ends on September 3rd. You will receive access to The Love Your Gut online program and all of the amazing resources in there for life (you can download them to keep forever!). The group coaching sessions will occur weekly over a period of 5 weeks.

I have specific dietary requirements, will this course work for me?

Yes! This course is designed to give you all of the tools you need to support a healthy digestive system in a way that works for your unique body. This course focuses first and foremost on incorporating real, whole foods into your diet! Participants are also given information about how to complete a Basic Elimination Diet which removes the top 7 food sensitivities: refined sugar, gluten, dairy, soy, corn, eggs and peanuts. The sample meal plan included centers around real whole foods, nutrient dense veggies and quality sources of fat and protein in the recipes. The sample recipes do include animal protein but you have the option to substitute for any protein of your choice. The goal of Love Your Gut is to empower EVERYONE to take care of their own, unique digestive system no matter where they are at!
