One thing I hear a lot from clients is that they know they should eat more veggies, drink more water and avoid overly fried sugary foods but for some reason they just can’t seem to stick with it. I was stressed about everything, things I “had to get done,” something “dumb” I had said in an interaction, and fear about an upcoming presentation. My mind would reflect on what would happen if those things I had to get done did not get done, or if I “messed up” on the presentation, and the resulting consequences. This stressed me out even more! The thing is I was creating problems and scenarios that did not even exist.
